During my time at Dorking Kindersley, I worked in the gardening department as an Assistant Designer. I was involved in designing book layouts and jackets. I also illustrated one of their books. I gained a comprehensive understanding of the printing and publishing process, from start to finish and prepared print-ready work, ensuring the best quality of images through retouching.
